COATING PROCESS
 
Compact Metal Industries Coating Division provides Fluorocarbon and Powder coatings services.

All substrates prior to coating are pretreated chemically. Pretreatment system employs ASTM D1730, type B, method 7, process performance confirms to ASTM B449.

Coating processes equip with automated electrostatic air spraying guns, overhead conveyors and gas ovens with six-point temperature tracking device.

Coating laboratory equips with spectrophotometer for colour matching and colour consistency checking. Colour sample preparation is possible to be done within a day.

Coating laboratory conducts tests daily to ensure quality of pretreatment chemicals and coating processes.

Fluorocarbon coating performance confirms to AAMA 605-92 or higher.

Powder coating performance depends on the type of powder customer preferred.

Maximum substrates size up to 7.0 x 1.5mē, both sides can be coated at one run.

Normal coating capacity up to 30,000mē monthly for each line.
